Challenger 7 2018

I want to thank everyone for helping Houston Orienteering Club (HOC) host a very successful “Space City Scary Scurry” orienteering event.

The weather was sunny and bright. No mosquitoes, no bugs. The new map was great. The courses were scary, challenging, wet, muddy and fun!

HOC could not have hosted this event without our JROTC cadet volunteers and HOC’s adult volunteers. Thank you both!

Last but not least, we had a successful orienteering event because you came and participated. You, our “Space City Scary Scurry Orienteers”!

We are already planning our next event at Stubblefield in the Sam Houston National Forest January 26-27, 2019.

I hope to see you there!

P.S. In the latest OUSA newsletter there are multiple articles regarding junior aged orienteers to include an opportunity to apply for a grant.
